School number 2, Galati. My favourite hobby is painting. I like to
paint because it`s relaxing. My favourite artist is Nicolae
Grigorescu. Nicolae Grigorescu was one of the founders of modern
Romanian painting. My favourite painting of N. Grigorescu is ''
Maidens at the entrance ''. He was born in Pitaru, Dâmboviţa, on 15
May 1838. He was named honorary member of the Romanian Academy in 1899. He dead on 21 July 1907. At the moment of his death, Grigorescu had been working on his '' Întoarcerea de la bâlci ( The Return from the Fair ) ''. Painting it's a hobby which everyone can have it.
